Corrections & right of reply
We would rather be corrected than be wrong. If any statement on this site is inaccurate, tell us with evidence and we will fix it — openly and on the record.
Clinics are heard before they’re scored
Before a complaint is scored against a clinic, that clinic is given the opportunity to respond. A clinic can also appeal a score or a fact at any time with documentary evidence, and we re-score against the same published rubric. Placement is never for sale, so a correction can only change what the evidence shows — not who ranks where in exchange for anything.
How a correction is handled
Tell us what’s wrong
Email the page URL, the specific statement, and the evidence you’d like us to consider — an authorisation number, published guarantee terms, a platform ruling, or a primary source.
We re-check the primary source
We compare the claim against the original evidence, not against our earlier write-up. If we got it wrong, we fix it.
We re-score if needed
If the correction affects a scored fact, we re-run it through the same fixed rubric — no special treatment for any clinic.
We log the change
Material corrections are recorded with a date, so the record of what changed is public.
Report an error
Send the page URL, the statement in question and your evidence via our contact page. We aim to acknowledge correction requests promptly and to resolve factual errors as quickly as the evidence allows.
Our standards for producing and reviewing content, and our independence rules, are set out in the editorial policy. How clinics qualify for a rank is explained under eligibility.
On the record
Material corrections, audit-request outcomes and score-affecting evidence updates are published in our public change log. The machine-readable log — change-log.jsonl — is the authoritative record; the entries below are generated from it.
composite 94.8 → 93.3 Composite adjusted after reverting the clinic-stated emergency-response credit above. Independent, source-verified items (operating licence, TDB registrations) are unchanged.
Source: Editorial correction (methodology application review)
capability.cap_emergency 1.5 → 0 Correction: a clinic-stated 24/7 emergency line is not independent evidence of a verified emergency-response arrangement. Reverted to 0 — clinic-stated service claims (unlike published-disclosure items such as prices or aftercare instructions) do not earn full points under the methodology.

composite 81.8 → 94.8 Net effect of the six audit-request verifications above. Independent-source items (licensing) and clinic-stated items (aftercare, emergency, crown price) are recorded separately; clinic-stated inputs remain flagged as not independently verified on the clinic profile.
